The logo takes us back to the Chasen’s era. The most famous Beverly Hills restaurant visited by a vast array of celebrities. It opened for business in 1936 and for many years hosted the Academy Awards party. Known for the infamous chili which Elizabeth Taylor had flown several orders to Rome during the filming of Cleopatra in 1963. Numerous booths named after celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Ronald Reagan, Alfred Hitchcock, James Stewart and Graucho Marks. Additionally, these celebrity A-listers frequented the Chasen’s; Walt Disney, Marilyn Monroe, Shirley Temple, Jack Nicholson, Cary Grant, Jack Benny, W.C. Fields, James Cagney, Clark Gable, Bob Hope, Jonny Carson, Gregory Peck and Kirk Douglas. 100% Cotton slouch. Lofted Cotton thread vintage embroidery.
